Talented Newborn Photographer Took Adorable Pictures Of Baby Goats
Who has seen a baby goat? If you’ve never seen one then you’re in for a treat, because they are absolutely adorable! In fact, there is one photographer in Columbia, California, who has been expanding her portfolio thanks to the photography of baby goats.
Sherry Pratt is normally a photographer specializing in baby photo shoots with Moments Whispered, however, lately she’s taken an interest in photographing newborn baby goats.
Back in February, Pratt revealed on her blog that she and a friend went to visit the Spenker Family Farm in Lodi, California. While there, she got to experience baby goats, and since, has been taking every opportunity to get in baby goat pictures.
As Pratt wrote, “The day was sunny and bright and all the Momma Goats were waiting in the wings to deliver. Each weighted down with bellies about to burst. As we took pictures of the new kids, we heard a bunch of ‘Naaaa! Naaaa’s, so we went out to see what the ruckus was. Well, a Momma was giving birth. One then two very healthy babies were born right there for us to see. The miracle of birth is never boring…We ewwed and awwed over the new arrivals and then went back to capture more cuteness.”
She even shared a photo with the caption, “Here is just one that I adore! Isn’t she the cutest?”
She even posted the exact same picture on her Instagram:
Pratt did reveal that “pet photography can be a real challenge,” however, she did make a good point when she said, “who can resist this face?”

In order to make the pictures of the newborn goats adorable, Pratt used blankets, flowers and other similar props that she uses in her human newborn shoots in order to create the desired effect: pure preciousness.
While Pratt’s baby goat pics on Instagram are absolutely breathtaking, there are plenty of other Instagram accounts that are dedicated to baby goat photography, so you won’t have a shortage of cuteness. In fact, the Bracken Oaks Farm, which is a small family farm in Santa Cruz, California, is dedicated to raising Nigerian Dwarf goats, where they are all about “letting goats be goats.”
