Abandoned Hunting Dog Was Tied To A Tree In The Freezing Cold So He Wouldn’t Follow His Owner Home

A dog named Tool was found abandoned on a mountain, tied to a tree so that he could not follow his owner. Tool was a hunting dog, and when he was no longer needed, his owner left him alone in the freezing cold. Tool’s story serves as an awareness example of how hunters in Greece treat their canine companions.

Luckily, Tool was rescued and found a forever home in no time. But of course not all dogs are this lucky. It’s now been two years since his rescue, and at nearly 11 years old, he is still young at heart. Tool’s new mom, Lone, takes such great care of him and “loves him so much it hurts.” Thank goodness his story has a happy ending!
