A street dog in Udaipur, India, was found stuck in a hot drum of tar and unable to get out for upwards of several days.

Asha, which means Hope in Hindi, crawled into a tar drum. Little did she know, she would get stuck and suffer burns all over her body. The team immediately cut into the drum and tried to remove her, but eventually had to take the entire drum to another site, where they used oil to slowly separate the tar from her fur and skin.
This truly was a labor of love by the community. Everyone chipped in to rescue this animal in dire need of help.
