Some said Tallyrand the kitten would never walk again. But the kind people at Human Rescue Alliance never took no for an answer.

According to wusa9.com, Tallyrand was found abandoned in a Washington storm drain when she was just two months old. She was brought into the Humane Rescue Alliance, where vets quickly noticed that the kitten had a broken back, causing paralysis in her back legs and tail.

Among her recovery treatments are regular acupuncture sessions, which, after only a month, led to major improvements. Tallyrand started to wiggle her tail and back legs and is holding herself up without help.

For a feline that could barely lift her head a few weeks ago, this was an amazing achievement. This turned out to be just the beginning for the adorable kitten.

While seeming impossible when she was rescued, the impossible has happened. The kitten after treatments can now run and walk on her own.

Although Tallyrand is not available for adoption yet, her immense progress shows it won’t be long until she will be put up for adoption to find her forever home. If you would like more information on the Humane Rescue Alliance, please check out their website.
