Animal Hospital Takes In Disabled Strays; Gives Them New Life and Heartwarming Freedoms

The life of a stray dog can be rough to begin with, but when that dog is disabled, it gets even harder. That’s where this animal hospital comes in. Adapostul Speranta, a partner of Four Paws International, not only takes in stray dogs and gives them life-long shelter, they also give wheelchairs to the ones who need them.

“At Speranta, we insist not to leave any dog behind,” the hospital wrote on their Facebook page. “We absolutely refuse to end a life that, with proper care, can be a happy one.”

These dogs, who once could not even walk, now know what it’s like to feel the wind in their face as they run around with their new friends. They now get to act like normal dogs again, enjoy the sun and the grass, and most of all, feel love and affection.

Each pup has a specially built cart just for them, and they now receive the proper care. These dogs will stay here for the rest of their lives, and never have to worry about fending for themselves on the streets ever again.

“The happiness of our paraplegic dogs is our reward,” the hospital wrote.

Unfortunately, as the dogs grow, they need bigger carts. Some carts also break after being worn out. To help the hospital make more carts, consider donating here.
