Snowboarders Saved This Stranded Horse From Freezing To Death In The Middle Of The Chilean Andes Mountains!

A horse was found alone on a mountainside of the Andes mountains in Chile with snow up to her stomach. If it weren’t for these heroic snowboarders, she wouldn’t have made it out alive!

Rafael Pease and his friend spotted what he at first thought was a big rock in the distance. As he got closer, he realized it was a horse, fighting for her life.

Digging with their shovels, they were able to free the wearied horse from the mound of snow and immediately fed her some food. They then led her down the mountain where she was finally united with her owner. It turns out that the poor horse had been missing for four days!

Pease took to his blog to write about the experience.

“I have been through a lot in life, and through it all I have realized that it’s well worth it to watch out for others – whether they are human or not. And that’s what me and my riding partner did. Hopefully this inspires you to get out there and not only live your life to the fullest, but to help others do the same.”
