This ‘Wobbly’ Kitten Has An Unlikely Friend To Lean OnJulie Hunt
Ralphee, the sweetest little kitten, suffers from Cerebellar Hypoplasia, referred to as CH. It’s a neurological disorder that makes the Ralphee appear a bit shaky but otherwise, he is just fine.
Referred to as “Wobbly Cats,” felines with CH suffer from delayed development in the brain.
“Cerebellar Hypoplasia occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain which controls fine motor skills and coordination, is not completely mature at birth,” according to CHcat.org. “Symptoms of CH can usually be seen immediately at birth.”
CH cats do not suffer and have the same life expectancy as other cats. Most even improve, getting used to their unique mobility style.
Ralphee was adopted and soon after Max, the Cattle Dog, became totally attached. Can you blame him? These two LOVE to go on adventures together and are rarely without one another. Isn’t this the sweetest?
