This Rare White-Faced Fawn Was Rejected By His Mother But Thankfully Found Love Elsewhere!

This rare white-faced fawn, named Dragon, was rejected by his mother at birth. With a white face, blue eyes and pink nose, this fawn looks much different than normal and would have a hard time surviving in the wild. Normally they have a black nose, and since Dragon’s is pink, it could get easily sunburnt. He would also have a hard time hiding from predators because of his white fur. Because of these circumstances, his mother abandoned him within hours of his birth.

The Powell family, owners of a 100-acre ranch called Deer Tracks Junction in Cedar Springs, Michigan, is taking care of him, bottle feeding him and giving him all the vitamins and nutrients that he needs to grow. Although he looks different than normal deer, he is just as beautiful! Look how adorable and sweet he is! It’s so sad that the mother abandoned him because of his condition, but I am thankful that he’s still able to get the care and love that he needs.
