If anyone has ever wondered what the power of love can do for an animal, they only need to look at these pictures.  There are animals, every day, who are abandoned, made to fight, beaten, and abused.  The fortunate ones are rescued and taken to no-kill shelters, although many are not.  Some get fostered.  Some find their forever homes.

Animals are not disposable. Many are generous, loving animals if only given half a chance.  Adopting an animal from a shelter or rescue comes with the reward of finding a loyal companion for life. As you look at the eyes of these animals, before when they were in sad circumstances, and after, when they have been living with someone who cares, you will see there is a difference.  There is a light.  There is love.
