Poncho was rescued by humans, but still had no mother. That is, until Hantu the White German Shepherd came to the rescue! Hantu had no puppies of her own so she was quick to take in Poncho and treat him as if he were her real baby. The two became inseparable. Watch as Hantu walks around with Poncho on her back, just as she had clung to her real mother’s. The ending is so heartwarming…you can see Poncho, fully-grown, STILL hanging over Hantu’s back. It’s clear that the two have developed an amazing bond and that Hantu takes great care of Poncho!
