When a litter of puppies are born, it is very rare that they all get to stay together and grow up together. Usually each one is adopted by different families in different parts of the country. But you always wonder how the other pups’ lives turned out.

And that’s exactly what Corie Gemmiti was thinking when she was looking through old pictures of her dog, Frito. She came across photos of Frito and his siblings when they were all just tiny puppies, and wondered what they looked like now and what they were up to.

Gemmiti then posted a picture of Frito on Facebook, with a sign searching for his family that read: “Hi, my name is Frito. I was adopted from Texas Humane Heroes on October 24, 2015. I’m looking for my siblings whose names were: Domino, Snow, Raven, Cali, Buddy & Aspen. Please share my post so I can reunite with them for a puppy play date at Texas Humane Heroes! #AdoptDontShop”

After working hard to get the dogs together, six of the seven puppies, their mom and owners met at the Texas Humane Heroes campus in Leander.

Looking at the dogs, it’s crazy to think they all came from the same litter, as they all have different color coats. But they all have very similar personality traits and got along great!

Since this reunion was such a success, Texas Humane Heroes hopes to host other dog family reunions in the future.

And as for Frito and his family, they hope to make this reunion an annual thing!
