Grumpy Cat Named First Cat To Have Her Own Wax Figure At Madame Tussaud’s… And She’s “Thrilled”!

Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in San Francisco has just announced that the famous frowning feline, Grumpy Cat, will be getting a wax figure later this year, Business Wire reports.

Her figure will be an “animatronic with five different movements.” After a short period at Madame Tussauds San Francisco, the grumpy wax figure will make its rounds to the other five Madame Tussauds locations across the U.S.

Grumpy Cat rose to fame when her picture was posted on Reddit in September 2012. After much speculation that the picture was Photoshopped, her owner posted videos to prove otherwise. The videos went viral, she became the subject of memes worldwide, and the rest is history!
