This Image Is Going Viral Because A Coffee Shop In Greece Does THIS Every Night!

This heartwarming picture has gone viral on the Internet over the last few days of a group of stray dogs taking a nap on cushioned benches at a café in Greece. The management there wants to offer a place for homeless pups to sleep after closing up each night. The café, called Hot Spot, located in Mytilene, Lesbos, lets the dogs in once the customers are all gone. This act of generosity touches my heart!!

Things like this are common in Greece, because of the large number of stray dogs there. But usually the community works together to care for these animals so that they don’t have to get locked up in crowded shelters. “Here in Greece our homes are not large enough for all of us to house animals,” an Athens resident told LifeWithDogs.tv. “That’s why we look after the street dogs. We feed them, pet them, and play with them. They are like our own pets, but they belong to everyone instead.”
