Duncan’s Megaesophagus Doesn’t Stop Him From Being Mega Paw-tastic!

Duncan may suffer from a debilitating condition but that doesn’t stop him from being a totally awesome puppy! Duncan suffers from a condition called Megaesophagus which inhibits his muscles in his esophagus from pushing food down. He needs a special chair that props him up, using gravity to do what his muscles can’t.

It’s pretty genius and Duncan is super grateful, because he’s got a healthy appetite. His condition will not inhibit him from being a happy puppy and he will grow big and strong too!

Dogs like Duncan may be harder to place but they definitely deserve a happy, loving home. Have you ever considered adopting a pet with special needs? Some rescue groups even have special veterinarians they use so you can follow up with the same doctors, and some groups may even be able to help with expenses. Special needs animals are super special and deserve the happiest lives possible.

All animals deserve to be happy, don’t you think? Isn’t Duncan adorable?
