Some people may think cats and dogs are just pets, but to many, they are family members. And just like any other family member, they deserve to be celebrated, especially when it’s their birthday!

One cat, named Luna, got her own Quinceanera for her 15th birthday. Angel Olavarria and his family, Luna’s owners, wanted to show Luna just how much they love her and care about her.

Not only did the family decorate the house with a ton of balloons and decorations, but they also had many different cat-friendly desserts for her to enjoy. She also wore a custom pink gown and a crown, since she was a kitty princess for the night.

12 of Luna’s closest family members joined in on the celebration, which lasted for nearly three hours. Luna sat on the table and leaned forward to blow out the candles on top of her tuna cake.

Despite Luna turning 15, her family says she doesn’t seem like a senior whatsoever. She’s very friendly and loving and is always purring.

Luna has been with her family since she was just three weeks old. They rescued her off the side of the road, and have shown her unconditional love ever since for the past 15 years. She’s very lucky that she was found by such a kind-hearted family. Hopefully Luna has many, many more wonderful years ahead of her with her loving family!
