Deaf And Blind Dog Who Went Missing 9 Years Ago, Ends Up At The Right Place At The Right TimeAshley Maisano
Kathy Hamel, owner of Arizona Shih Tzu and Small Breed Rescue, had a little dog brought to her after he was found abandoned in front of a tattoo parlor. Hamel discovered that the 15-year-old Lhasa Apso had a microchip, so she got it scanned to see if he had a family.
He did, in fact, have a family! Hamel was able to track owner Amy Baca down on Facebook. Baca was shocked to hear that her dog, Brownie, was found, let alone alive. Brownie went missing nine years ago, and Baca had lost all hope. All of these years later, Baca got to reunite with her precious pooch. She thought it was too good to be true until she saw Brownie with her own eyes.
Baca still has the original “missing” flyer from when Brownie went missing. It reads: “To anyone with a noble and sincere heart, please help me find Brownie. Brownie is very old and sick. He has his home, the kids cry for him everyday. If you have a dog, you would know how terrible it feels to lose one. If you have Brownie or know where he is, please call any of the numbers listed below.”
Thankfully, Baca’s wish came true. Their reunion was extremely heartwarming! You can watch it in the video below.
As Brownie got older, she has lost her sight and hearing, but now she has gained back her family and can live out the rest of her days with a family who loves her unconditionally!
