At First, He Thought His Cow Had Given Birth To Twins, But Then He Took A Closer Look…

A man was on his farm in Kentucky and went out to see if any of the cows had given birth. One, in fact, did give birth, but it was nothing like he ever expected. Right in front of him lay a two-headed calf!

When he first saw her, he thought it was twin calves, but when he looked closer, he realized it was only one calf. He brought her into the barn as quick as he could to clean her and get her checked out. The calf, later named Lucky, has cleft palates in both of her mouths and cannot nurse from her mother. Because of this, they have to bottle-feed her by hand.

Because Lucky has a larger head, it threw her balance off and she had trouble walking and standing in the beginning. But as the days go by, she is getting more and more used to it and is walking around on her own.

You know how people always say that everything always happens for a reason? Well I think the calf being born on this farm was meant to be, because her human, Stan McCubbin, just happens to be a special education teacher; he spends his days helping kids overcome their challenges, and now he gets to help a cow with special needs!

They’re unsure of how long Lucky will live, but one thing is for sure: she will continue to get showered with all of the love this kind-hearted family has to give!
